The motorsports manufacturer Polaris—known for its off-road vehicles and snowmobiles, as well as the motorcycle brands Indian and Victory—has introduced its first three-wheeler, the Polaris Slingshot. Built in Spirit Lake, Iowa, the new trike is equipped with a 173 hp, 2.4-liter engine that generates 166 ft lbs of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
